The Greater Feast of Pamela Colman Smith 🕯️
18th September 1951

Pamela has been one of the artists who has most deeply influenced me since childhood, and continues to do so today, many years after her death.

I stopped by Treadwell’s to pay my respects at her fireplace. ❤️ They acquired it in 2018 when Pamela’s former home in Cornwall was being renovated, and the fireplace made its way all the way to London. @treadwellsbooks really is the best home for it.

Much love to all my fellow RWS users 🕯️❤️

The darker Monday nights in September I'm in Bristol teaching Tarot classes, classes I've designed so that we can be fully present with each other in full discussion, whilst basking in the gorgeous energy of the bookshop by candlelight. I wish I could describe in words the delightfully warm and luscious energy that creates in the room but I guess you just have to be there. ❤️‍🔥🥹

TAROT READERS: DO YOU REMEMBER YOUR FIRST DECK? M

TAROT READERS: DO YOU REMEMBER YOUR FIRST DECK?

My first Tarot deck was The Mythic Tarot by Juliet Sharman-Burke & Liz Greene, gifted to me per tradition on my 24th birthday by my dear friend Cat @cataaaaaaaaina
I'm very thankful to her for such a thoughtful and fortuitous gift.

Alongside the energy healing business I'd started from my basement flat in Camberwell, Tarot felt like the necessary progression..and I took to it like a duck to water and haven't been able to put it down since!

I was both ambitious and overwhelmed. For a while I got very stuck trying to memorise all the information, just enough so that I could actually give readings. 🤡

But it felt like I was missing something.. like there was a specific key underlying the entire deck.
And then I started to notice the formula!!

That's when I actually started actually ** reading ** Tarot! Rather than trying to remember it, I was using major resources I already had!

And guess what?!

I'm teaching Tarot this Monday, sharing these same lessons I learned in my early days so you can fast-track the experience I had, without getting stuck trying to memorise 78 cards!

Come learn Tarot with me this Monday in Bristol!

And Tarot readers... What was your first deck? Do you think it shaped the way you read now?

Amped up the theatrics for the @mastodonrocks listening party last night at @ravenrecords_camden , London's alcohol free Metal bar! ❤️‍🔥💀🖤

I gave "The Three Fates” themed Tarot readings from Greek Mythology, which is also the theme of their new album 🤘

Three Goddesses were once believed to hold ones destiny: Clotho spins the thread... 🧵 Lachesis measures it... 📏 Atropos cuts it....✂️

Go listen to the album now!

Thanks so much to Ben, Tierney and Chloe x

How cool is this TAROT CAKE?! 🎂✨

And how gorgeous is this little Tarot setup for tonight's private party?! Shared with permission.

Thank you, gang! 🖤

I've had such a beautiful, deep and transformative evening with this group. I love how Tarot brings us together through life's transitions, and how moments of real depth be enjoyed even in the middle of a party.

If you're curious about having Tarot at your private party, corporate event or festival, I'd love to hear from you. Get in touch and we can chat about creating something special for your event.

With love,
x
