This photo from my super profound experience burni This photo from my super profound experience burning my last £20 note at the 2021 Church of Burn, Festival of Money event @churchofburn has resurfaced! 🔥💸🔥 It's hard to put this fully into words, but the act of destroying money in this moment in a ceremonial fashion confronted my relationship with value, scarcity, ego, and sacrifice, breaking psychological attachments and exploring what “worth” really means. It's a sacred act. I can't say it's something Ive practiced more than twice now in this environment, but each time I've felt a deeper understanding of what this means and why it's so powerful to do. The KLF were onto something.. (And yes, a percentage of proceeds was donated to @stmungos homeless shelter; we got to do our symbolic act, and look after the community.) Forgive me folks. This has taken me a hot second Forgive me folks. This has taken me a hot second to get round to posting... but...... ....WE DID IT!!!!!!!! WE DID IT!!!! WE WALKED 500 MILES ON THE MICHAEL MARY LINE! Well... 531 to be exact! It took us two whole months and we couldn't have done it without your support! 🥹 To everyone who donated to our Go Fund Me pages... To everyone who put us up for the night. To everyone who fed us a cup of tea and shared a joke. To every txt message of support... THANK YOU! You helped us get through! And you are amazing! This walk has changed me. So very deeply. It's still alchemising.... But I can already feel that my relationship with the natural world has changed....Deepend... Strengthened. I did not train for this, and boy did I feel that in the first two weeks 😂 Always being led by spirit, always wanting to take on these huge challenges to assert my spiritual authority... 😂 I almost quit twice in those early weeks. It WAS as hard as I expected... BUT WE F*CKING DID IT!!!!! So many profound experiences shared And I'm so grateful to be back with this new connection to the natural world. I love you my dear pilgrims @kriyaarts @dansumption and Dill! And all those beautiful folk that joined us for a few days. I’ve naturally stopped asking for *things + stuff* and instead I’m just expressing a deep gratitude for the knowledge and wisdom I’ve gained over this time.. Ya know, the stuff that counts.. Especially now that my HGA and I are five years in together.. I think I’m ... satisfied. Content. Fulfilled... Whatever it is..? I don't have much at all to show for it in a traditional sense. I don't have a house, family or job... Anyone's idea of "success" I would not fit.. We've been walking 10 miles a day since 1st Septem We've been walking 10 miles a day since 1st September, following the Michael Mary line from the Cornwall coast to Norfolk with just 11 days left to walk. This pilgrimage has been a sacred act, walking magick, developing a new relationship with the earth. Times have been challenging, but also deeply profound and enriching and layers that no longer serve us have fallen away. I feel more alive than ever both embodied yet having surrendered more to the divine, carrying your prayers with me at service. I crave more "realness" for life ahead as I mentally prepare myself for the journey as I rest and reintegrate, expecting more expansion to unfold in the months to follow. Of course, Ill be holding 1:1 sessions + circles from Samhain onwards and would love for you to join me through this process of transformation. Please come with an open mind and heart. I welcome all genders and backgrounds, LGBTQ+++ friendly space, anyone is welcome who resonates with this work. I don't do women's circles. Please bring with you (not essential): -A photo of your loved ones, something that goes back a few generations, or anything you have -A sentimental item to represent them -A home cooked dish/cake/bread that can be shared -An offering of tobacco, wine, or something that resonates -An ancestral story to share -An instrument DM to secure your spot before it goes out to the public!
